QR Codes?…For Used Car Shoppers!

Here’s the official definition: A QR code (abbreviation for Quick Response code) is a specific matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code) that is readable by dedicated QR barcode readers and camera telephones. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background. The information encoded may be text, URL, or other data.

For me when I see them, I just have to scan to see what secret it’s hiding.  Since I first heard of them, QR codes on all used vehicles
I’ve been seeing them everywhere.

We now have these on all of our used cars. They come in really handy if you are one of our “after hours” shoppers. In case you haven’t noticed we do not have gates as many other dealerships do, specifically because we want you to be as comfortable as possible when you are doing your vehicle shopping. The QR codes are on the window stickers and when scanned they will take you to a detail page specific to that car. This page will have most if not all the information you are curious about and will also let you contact us.  I scanned this QR code and it took me quickly and directly to this..harryrobinson.com mobile

In order you use this feature you must download any QR code reader app to your smart phone, but that only takes a second. The one that I found to be both on the “best” and “compatible” lists for most smart phones is called ScanLife. I downloaded mine from the app store and it was free. Also, if you click the link you will see that there are a lot of cool things you can do with the scanner. Like I said, I have a bit of an addiction with mine!  Ok..Now get to scanning! Lol.
