Help for Arkansas Tornado Victims

Hi! I wanted to give a quick update on our friends in Denning/Etna. They are still trying to put all the pieces back together since the tornado hit on May 24th. The good news is that you can still help! Along with the need for volunteers, there are many opportunities to give.
The Moving Forward Project is a great way to help out a family or families in need. I’ve written about this project before . There are applications here at Harry Robinson Buick GMC (6000 S 36th St, Fort Smith AR) or I can email you a copy of all the info. Here’s a video explaining the project in detail.

A big event coming up in September is the Disaster Shower. Each family affected by the tornado will be given the opportunity to choose items they need for their household. This is such a great idea! I can’t imagine how it would be if I didn’t have an alarm clock or a can opener or a skillet! It would be very eye-opening to reach for them and not find them. I will place a list of needs for this shower in our Facebook in the notes section. Facebook.com/HarryRobinsonBuickGMC. Donations for the Disaster Shower need to be turned in no later than Monday Sept. 19th. As always, you can bring them here and we will get them into the right hands.

If you would like to volunteer your time to the effort please contact Elaine Carroll at 479.209.3880.

Thank you for helping!
