Hello 2012

2011 was a fantastic year for us. We became Partners in Education with Chaffin Jr. High here in Fort Smith, Arkansas. It’s been phenomenal spending time with the future adults of our community. It’s refreshing and inspiring to see what they are accomplishing in their current community, which is their school.
We were also able to sponsor some of the appreciation events for the local teachers through the Fort Smith Chamber of Commerce. It is wonderful to be able to show appreciation for teachers who are working hard every day to educate, encourage & influence our kids.
The employees are so enthusiastic about giving, and I’m so proud to be a part of such a team. They volunteered for United Way’s Stuff the Bus which, of course, provides school supplies for Alma, Greenwood, Booneville, Ozark, Paris, Poteau, Sallisaw, Van Buren & Fort Smith schools. In October, we had an awesome Breast Cancer Awareness day. (Thanks to our fans on facebook we were able to give a monetary donation to Komen for the Cure Ozark.) We have ongoing participation in the Ronald McDonald Charities of Arkoma “Pull for the RMHC of Arkoma” program. This program is an excellent way to support the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith as well as to provide dental care to local children. It’s purely habit after a while to pull your tab off your canned beverage & toss it in a bowl. I would encourage you all to save your tabs & use them to support this great local cause.
I won’t go on tootin’ their horns I just wanted to say: The employees of Harry Robinson Buick GMC are the best and we are so proud of them for spending time serving Fort Smith & the surrounding communities of the River Valley.
We are excited for more to come in 2012.

Thanks for helping us make the communities of the River Valley the best place in the world to live!
Cathy
