December of Kindness: Week 5

Back in October, we went to a United Way of Fort Smith fundraiser & the main takeaway was Kindness & how we can use December to spread as much kindness as possible in our little world.

According to the Mayo Clinic: Kindness has been shown to increase self-esteem, empathy and compassion, and improve mood. It can decrease blood pressure and cortisol, a stress hormone, which directly impacts stress levels. People who give of themselves in a balanced way also tend to be healthier and live longer.

So we have been sharing ideas for spreading kindness all month long. December and 2021 is coming to a close so let us use this ending as an inspiration for a new beginning in 2022. If you haven’t chosen your theme or word or mantra for the new year, may I suggest KINDNESS.

We wish you health, happiness & lots of kindness this New Year! 🌟
