Growth is incredible & it’s so awesome to have employees who can be promoted within the company. I love the fact that there are managers here who started out washing cars! It’s one of the top things I love about Harry Robinson Buick GMC. We are growing, you may have noticed we are always hiring these days. One big change we are making to better serve our customers is to add an additional Finance Manager to the team. The “Powers that be”, or Renee & Scott as we like to call them :), got together and made the decision to move your familiar GMC Go to Guy, Jon Schumacher from the VIP Sales Manager to a Finance Manager to give Mike Hesson some relief . When you are experiencing the growth we are (Thanks so much to our awesome customers for that!) it’s very important to add people in order to continue to make the best customer experience possible for each & every customer.

Here’s Jon’s bio in case you aren’t familiar with him:
I am the father of two wonderful children and a husband of a very supportive wife. I have lived in the surrounding area all my life and love working in the Fort. I have been a vehicle enthusiast since I was a kid which makes selling vehicles a very fun job for me. On my down time, I love going on mini vacations with my family, enjoying the outdoors, and playing basketball with my buddies. If you’re wanting a great vehicle buying experience before, during, and after the sale, please come by and see me. You won’t be disappointed!

Jon has been THE GMC go to guy for a while now, and we in the “nerd herd” are really going to miss him. But, the good news is he will still be here at HRBG serving our customers. The finance manager is the last person you deal with when buying a vehicle. You go in “the room” (for privacy reasons) and sign a stack of papers & you’re also given the opportunity to buy additional warranties. The reason for you, the customer, why this person is so important is that you need someone you can trust doing this job. You don’t want to worry you’re being sold a crap warranty not worth the paper it’s written on, am I right?! Jon will introduce you to products available tailored specifically to your needs. I spoke with Jon about this blog yesterday, we had a little fun taking some pictures and he said, “please let them (you guys reading this) know that I am looking forward to hearing about the individual needs of every customer & meeting those needs with the best and most tailored experience possible for every single customer.”
He also told me that just yesterday he helped a lady who had bought a Mercedes from us last week & when the air conditioning gave her a problem she was able to get it fixed without any out-of-pocket expense. When I bought my daughters car I made sure to buy the very best warranty available, and it’s been a life saver on the old VW Bug! Mike has done a great job of offering warranties and products to each of us understanding our needs & circumstances, and we are so happy to have Jon helping him to continue offering the top-notch VIP service our customers expect when they buy from Harry Robinson Buick GMC.

We respect Jon & his commitment to product knowledge and to giving every customer a uniquely VIP treatment experience. We are proud he has joined our finance team & ask you to come check out our VIP experience from car shopping throughout the entire purchasing process and beyond with VIP service and maintenance.

The changes in the VIP sales department are also great for the customer. Noel has been promoted to VIP Manager and, of course, James, Jerry & Marty round out the team. I’m sure going to miss working with Jon every day, but I’m super excited for his promotion. He is a really great employee and it’s a real good thing when your company recognizes good people & rewards them like they do at HRBG.
